In the end of 2014, I started my graduate student project at the Helmholtz center and I quickly got involved with DINI. Before, in university, I was also an elected representative and I continued as a graduate student representative last year.

I think it is important to get involved with change and make propositions on where we move to. Personally, I like the events like the get-togethers, the snow weekend and the summer party, because it is a casual way for graduate students to get to know each other. I am going to continue organizing some of them.

Topics in the next year are an updated supervision agreement, new guidelines for graduate student projects and the working time / holiday issue covered by the recent survey. I am going to work towards good working conditions during everyone’s graduate student project.

If you have any other topics that you want DINI or the representatives to pick up, don't hesitate to let me know.
