Election of the Graduate Student Representatives

Run for Graduate Student Representative!

Dear Graduate Students,

We are pleased to announce the election of the Graduate Student Representatives at the annual Graduate Student’s Day on December 4, 2018 (official announcement will follow soon).

The Graduate Student Representatives are officially elected by all graduate students for the term of one year. They represent the interests of the graduate students towards the Center and meet with the Center’s management to discuss important processes. They regularly exchange ideas with the HELENA Coordinator, the Helmholtz-wide graduate student association – the Helmholtz Juniors, and participate in their annual meetings. The representatives actively shape HELENA and organize social events for the graduate students. In this respect, they also tightly cooperate with the doctoral student’s initiative at Helmholtz Zentrum München (DINI), a free association of graduate students.

If you would like to run for Graduate Student Representative, please send the following documents to the Graduate Student Office (GSO):

  • A short text explaining why you would like to be a spokesperson and which topics you would like to address as a Graduate Student Representative.
  • One high quality picture.

As a template, please view the poster for the elections in 2015/ 2016.

Thank you for sending your documents to the GSO until October 31 2018.

For additional information, please contact the GSO (gso-sprnoSp@m@helmholtz-helena.de)

We are looking forward to many applications!
